Student exchange program becomes one of various topics agreed on in the discussion between Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., IPU, ASEAN Eng. and Dean of Research and Innovation Universitas Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Prof. Sr. Dr. Zulkiflee Abd Latif, Thursday (14/3) at UiTM campus, Selangor, Malaysia.

Discussion on other collaboration opportunities such as joint research and publication, and other activities that could support academics of two universities were also conducted.

Prof. Zulkiflee stated that UiTM has organized several international student exchange programs, and the majority were with Indonesian students. Certainly, Untar is expected to be one of UiTM partners in short time.

Rector of Untar believes this meeting will be continued and improved in the future. “Let’s not stop here, as Untar and UiTM have so many potentials,” said Rector.

Untar has conducted cooperation with several universities in Malaysia, such as Universiti Sains Malaysia, INTI Internasional University and Colleges, Tunku Abdul Rachman University College (TAR UC), Universiti Malaya, and Universiti Malaysia Pahang.

UiTM is a private university located in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. This university owns more than 300 academic programs that come from various science discipline, such as medical science, humanities, business and management, science, social science, and engineering.
