The development of business, industries, and trends in global society are influenced heavily by technological advancements, especially digital technology. The world has become near and united through digital technology, creating new orders in interindividual, intercommunity, intersociety. and international communications. This condition has forced higher education to make changes in learning processes, both through academic and non-academic activities of lecturers and students. On the other hand, The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology through Higher Education Directorate, has launched Independent Learning Independent Campus (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka/MBKM) program as one of the efforts to anticipate the growing requirements of business and industries, a consequence of currently undergoing technological advancements.

Universitas Tarumanagara as one of the oldest, the best, and the biggest private universities in Indonesia, strives to always develop itself and achieve reputations, both in national and international scene. We developed leading programs for students to learn at Universitas Tarumanagara, focusing on MBKM program in particular. Universitas Tarumanagara focuses itself on Entrepreneurship excellence, based on our own self-developed values, which are Integrity, Professionalism, and Entrepreneurship (IPE).

The curriculum is designed to prioritize entrepreneurship excellence, emphasize on leading subjects Semester Credit Unit to increase subject depth, actual case studies relating to the fields of business, industry, and society, as well as developing programs based on prior learning or experience recognition (RPL), and by research program for Master’s and Doctorate studies. Programs such as internship, national and international student and lecturer exchange, project-based learning, e-learning, entrepreneurship training on students and lecturers, and conducive academic atmosphere are the excellence of Universitas Tarumanagara.
