Untar Delegates Visited KSU to Strengthen MBKM Program

Untar delegates led by Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., IPU, AE visited Kun Shan University (KSU) Taiwan and greeted by President of KSU Prof. Dr. Tien-Shang Lee and other KSU leaders, Monday (9/1). This visit was conducted to sign the memorandum of understanding (MoU) to extend cooperation between both universities.

Rector of Untar stated that the MoU signing is a form of continuous cooperation, showing the relationship built has been well. Untar considers KSU as one of the best international partners.

“Programs that we have conducted so far, such as student and lecturer exchange, international conference, joint research, and others, have to be appreciated,” said Rector.

In the visit, Rector introduced Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) program that has been done by Untar, and Rector expects the program could be organized together as an implementation of extended collaboration.

In the same occasion, President of KSU also offered various cooperation opportunities between both universities, particularly in the field of technological development, which is the current focus of KSU. Dr. Lee expects both universities continue to collaborate in various fields for the improvement of both universities’ reputations.

Untar and KSU have conducted joint activities, such as student and guest lecturer exchange, and international conference. Aside of that, lecturer of Untar Didi Widya Utama is currently undertaking Doctor Mechanical Engineering study at KSU.

Untar and KSU are the member of Asia University Union (AU+), an alliance participated with universities from Taiwan, Japan, China, Korea, and Malaysia. This alliance is an active contribution of Untar globally. (JS/AW/YS/AW)
