The Student Affairs and Alumni Institution (Lemawa) of Universitas Tarumanagara held an online Socialization and Strategy Session on Preparing Competitive Student Creativity Program (PKM) Proposals through Zoom on Tuesday (17/03/2026).
The event was opened by Head of Lemawa Untar, Tri Sutrisno, S.Si., M.Sc., who stated that the program aimed to align the university’s commitment to increasing the number of PKM proposals in 2026. He also mentioned plans regarding the implementation of PKM programs.
Rector of Universitas Tarumanagara, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., also delivered remarks emphasizing the importance of increasing student participation in PKM. He expressed hope that the socialization program would help optimize the quality of students’ proposals, supported by experienced speakers in their respective fields.
The event featured keynote speaker Prof. Akhmad Fauzy, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., who also serves as a judge for the Student Creativity Program National Scientific Week (Pimnas). Also present was Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Cooperation, Assoc. Prof. Sri Tiatri, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., Psikolog, who played a role in supporting the event’s implementation.
In his presentation, Prof. Akhmad Fauzy explained that students participating in PKM are expected to develop skills that can be applied both in academic settings and in the professional world.
In addition, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Tarumanagara, Dr. P. Tommy Y. S. Suyasa, M.Si., Psikolog, also took part as a speaker during the sharing session.
Through this activity, Universitas Tarumanagara reaffirmed its commitment to actively contributing to the development and improvement of university quality while encouraging students to make meaningful contributions to society. (VC/YS)
