The Visual Communication Design (DKV) Study Program of the Faculty of Arts and Design (FSRD) at Universitas Tarumanagara organized an exhibition titled “Novus: Designing the New Era” as part of its effort to support the creation of students’ creative works.
The theme “Novus,” which means renewal, was chosen to represent students’ spirit in creating ideas, innovations, and new perspectives that are relevant to current developments. The exhibition featured the best works of DKV students from the class of 2022 who had completed their final projects and participated in the yudisium process.

The exhibition was held for two days at Aloha PIK 2 and officially opened on Friday (13/3/2026). The event is an annual agenda of the DKV Study Program, serving as a platform for students to showcase their work to the public before completing their studies. Through this exhibition, participants not only presented their creations but also built connections with lecturers, alumni, and visitors from various creative industry backgrounds.
In addition to displaying visual works and creative products, the event also featured various activities such as live painting, walk-in activities, DIY art sessions, musical performances, and sharing sessions with DKV alumni. These activities became a form of appreciation as well as an interactive space that strengthened relationships among students, lecturers, alumni, and visitors in a more relaxed atmosphere.
Through the organization of this exhibition, the DKV Study Program continues to maintain an academic tradition that encourages students to confidently present their work, collaborate, and prepare themselves for the professional world. The event also serves as part of the program’s efforts to strengthen creative networks that can support students after completing their studies. (E/YS)
