In welcoming Christmas and New Year celebrations, Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) held a Christmas Carol event attended by the entire academic community and the Tarumanagara extended family. This year’s celebration carried the theme “Beyond Love” and was held on Wednesday (10/12/2025) at Campus I Untar Auditorium.
The event featured performances from various Student Activity Units (UKM), including the Tarumanagara University Choir (PSUT), Citra Pesona Untar, Band Tarumanagara (BAR), as well as a performance by students of the Faculty of Psychology Untar through the music group Psycoustic. The presence of these performers enriched the atmosphere of togetherness among all participants.

In his remarks, Untar Rector Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M. emphasized the importance of upholding humanitarian values amidst campus diversity.
“Christmas is a time when we reflect on universal values such as compassion, care, and humility. These values allow brotherhood and togetherness to flourish within our diverse campus community,” he stated.
Complementing this message, Chairman of the Tarumanagara Foundation Board Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H. highlighted the meaning of this year’s theme, “Beyond Love.”
“This theme reminds us that love is boundless and sincere. The entire Tarumanagara family—lecturers, staff, leadership, and students—must continue to maintain harmony. May this Christmas and New Year strengthen an ecosystem of mutual respect and tolerance,” he said.
The celebration concluded with a collaborative performance by all performers on stage, followed by a group photo session and fellowship gathering. The warmth reflected the spirit of kinship that characterizes the Tarumanagara family.
As an institution that upholds diversity, Untar remains committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful space for all members of its academic community. Through Christmas Carol 2025, Untar reaffirmed that the spirit of tolerance, care, and love is not only celebrated but also embodied in daily campus life—an actual step toward bringing the “Beyond Love” theme beyond celebration and into a shared culture.
