For more than six decades, Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) has contributed to producing graduates who uphold integrity, professionalism, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
In celebration of its anniversary, Universitas Tarumanagara held a people’s festival on Saturday (4/10/2025) at Campus I Universitas Tarumanagara. The event served as the closing of the 66th Dies Natalis series, which was previously initiated with Untarian Berbatik and the Panggung Pensi performance.
This year, Universitas Tarumanagara carries the theme “Move Beyond,” reflecting its determination to go beyond expectations and contribute positively at both national and global levels.
Rector of Universitas Tarumanagara, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., emphasized that the Dies Natalis moment is not merely a celebration of age, but also a reflection of institutional achievements and a drive to move further forward.
“With the 66th anniversary, it is hoped that Universitas Tarumanagara’s academic innovation will continue to grow, and collaboration with strategic partners at both national and international levels will further increase,” he said.

The celebration also involved support from Universitas Tarumanagara alumni who have succeeded as entrepreneurs and professionals in various fields. In addition, industry partners and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) around the campus also participated as a form of business sector support as well as Universitas Tarumanagara’s commitment to MSME empowerment.
Head of the Higher Education Services Institute (LLDIKTI) Region III, Dr. Henri Togar Hasiholan Tambunan, S.E., M.A., who attended the main event, expressed his appreciation for Universitas Tarumanagara’s consistency in building synergy with various stakeholders.
“LLDIKTI Region III will continue to support and encourage the realization of Universitas Tarumanagara’s vision so that it can be implemented properly and bring benefits to many parties, especially students and the surrounding community,” he said.
Also present were the Chairperson of the Tarumanagara Foundation, Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H., along with his ranks, as well as members of the West Jakarta Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Muspida).
In his remarks, Prof. Ariawan emphasized the importance of academic innovation, both internal and external collaboration, improvement of accreditation rankings, and internationalization efforts as concrete steps to strengthen Universitas Tarumanagara’s reputation.
On the same occasion, a community scholarship was officially awarded to Restu Anbia Putra, an online motorcycle taxi driver, as a tangible expression of Universitas Tarumanagara’s commitment to inclusive education. The scholarship was directly presented by the Rector of Universitas Tarumanagara, the Chairperson of the Tarumanagara Foundation, and the Head of LLDIKTI Region III. This initiative underscores Universitas Tarumanagara’s position as an open institution that supports equal access to education regardless of social or economic background.

In another segment, Universitas Tarumanagara also launched a book titled “Dari Visi ke Aksi” (“From Vision to Action”) as a form of accountability for its performance over the past year. The book reflects that Universitas Tarumanagara’s vision is not merely aspirational, but has been realized through concrete actions and measurable achievements.
Throughout its journey, Universitas Tarumanagara consistently instills the values of Integrity, Professionalism, and Entrepreneurship (IPE) across its academic community, while also implementing the principles of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in various activities. These values serve as the foundation for shaping graduates with strong character and global competitiveness. The 66th Dies Natalis further reinforces Universitas Tarumanagara’s commitment to continuous progress through enhanced collaboration, strengthened innovation, and international achievements, aiming to solidify its reputation in both academic and professional spheres.
