Focus on Green Technology
In his dissertation, Syafrijon highlighted the importance of implementing green technology in the transformation of industrial areas in Indonesia. He emphasized that an eco-smart industrial revolution serves as a crucial foundation for the development of sustainable industrial zones.
The primary objective of his research was to promote eco-smart industrial areas through the development of physical infrastructure, the utilization of renewable energy, and the improvement of policies and regulations.
The study employed an explanatory mixed-methods approach. A total of 100 respondents participated in the quantitative analysis using the PLS-SEM method, complemented by in-depth interviews for qualitative analysis.
The findings revealed that the transformation of industrial areas into eco-smart zones can be achieved through the development of technological infrastructure, the enhancement of human resource competencies, and the establishment of strategic partnerships. These efforts were shown to have a significant positive impact on industrial area development. In the study, Karawang International Industrial City was selected as one of the research sites.
At the conclusion of the defense, Examination Committee Chair Ir. Harto Tanujaya, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., extended his congratulations and appreciation to Syafrijon for successfully completing his research and reaching the open examination stage. (VC/YS)
