The Undergraduate Architecture Study Program of Untar participated in IndoBuildTech (IBT) 2025, Indonesia’s largest exhibition for building materials, architecture, and interior design. The event was held from 2–6 July 2025 at ICE BSD City, Tangerang, and served as a strategic platform for industry players and educational institutions to showcase their latest works, innovations, and developments in design and construction.

IndoBuildTech Expo 2025 featured more than 500 renowned brands, including Dekkson, TOTO, KOHLER, TACO, Paloma, Titanium, Platinum, The Hellenoz, and Vivere Group, among others. The exhibition was also supported by 45 industry associations and more than 40 trusted media partners, making it a dynamic and progressive hub for industry promotion and collaboration.

As part of the exhibition, the Undergraduate Architecture Study Program of Untar was invited to present student works under an exhibition concept titled “Art Gallery.” The concept was designed to allow visitors to experience the showcased projects as they would in a contemporary art space, creating a rich visual and spatial experience.

The exhibition featured presentation panels and architectural models created by students from the Undergraduate Architecture Program as well as the Architect Professional Program (PPAr). In addition to physical displays, visitors were presented with a compilation of digital videos that visually narrated spatial concepts, offering an immersive and contextual architectural experience.

One of the participating students, Annisa Diva Salsabila, expressed her pride and gratitude for being part of the prestigious exhibition.

“I feel grateful and proud to participate in IndoBuildTech 2025. For me, this is not merely an exhibition, but a real space where ideas, aspirations, and architectural innovations meet the public directly. Being involved in this event has given me the opportunity to communicate my ideas through building design,” she said.

Annisa also hopes that the works displayed can spark greater awareness and encourage meaningful conversations about important societal issues.

“I hope my work can inspire and provoke reflection, even if only by raising new questions or perspectives. This project represents my concern for society, and I hope it can become a small step toward positive change,” she added.

As a closing message, she shared words of encouragement for her fellow students in the Undergraduate Architecture Study Program at Untar.

“Never be afraid to dream big, but always keep your feet grounded in reality. Architecture is not only about design and drawings; it is about understanding real-life conditions and creating meaning through space. Embrace the process wholeheartedly, keep learning, do not be afraid of making mistakes, and most importantly, stay true to your own values and vision,” Annisa concluded.

The participation of Untar’s Architecture Study Program in IndoBuildTech 2025 serves as tangible evidence of higher education’s contribution to developing young talent, expanding professional networks, and positioning students within the ever-evolving architecture and interior design industry.
