FTI Graduates Encouraged to Uphold Untar’s IPE Values

The Faculty of Information Technology (FTI) of Untar officially announced the graduation of its students during a yudisium ceremony held at Building R, Untar Campus I, on Tuesday (16/7/2024). A total of 50 students were declared graduates, consisting of 23 students from the Undergraduate Informatics Engineering Program (TI) and 27 students from the Undergraduate Information Systems Program (SI).

Dean of FTI, Prof. Dr. Ir. Dyah Erny Herwindiati, M.Si., expressed her gratitude and congratulated the prospective graduates. She encouraged them to embrace the next chapter of their journey as information technology professionals.

She also reminded graduates to uphold the good name of their alma mater and to embody Untar’s core values of Integrity, Professionalism, and Entrepreneurship (IPE).

Representing the graduates, Jesslyn delivered a speech expressing appreciation for the guidance, knowledge, and support provided by the lecturers and staff of FTI. She also expressed hope that the knowledge gained during their studies would continue to be developed and applied in both professional and community settings.

The event continued with the announcement of the best undergraduate thesis awards from each study program, followed by the recitation of the code of ethics by all yudisium participants.

In addition to the yudisium ceremony, FTI also organized a job fair in collaboration with alumni and industry partners. The initiative aimed to broaden graduates’ opportunities and perspectives regarding the professional world, particularly within the field of information technology. (CS/YS/KJ)
