Untar continues to strengthen its commitment in implementing the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program with various initiatives, including participation in student exchanges.
As part of its collaborative efforts, Untar consistently works with national and international partners to expand students’ educational opportunities.
International Study and Training Partnerships (ISAP), is one of the implementations of this cooperation. The program is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
Through this program, four scholarships will be awarded to Untar students to study at Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences (HHN), Campus Künzelsau (Germany) for one semester in the winter semester 2024/2025.
Here are the requirements to apply.
1. Registered as an Indonesian citizen (WNI)
2. Active students of Untar, in the 4th and 6th semester at the time of registration
3. Good academic qualifications, proven by a minimum GPA of 3.25 out of 4.00
4. Personal suitability to stay abroad
5. At least 20 credits should be completed at the partner university to be credited
6. English proficiency of at least B2 level (TOEFL iBT – 78, IELTS – 6.0, or Duolingo English Test – 100)
Documents that must be completed to apply are as follows.
1. Recommendation letter from Head of Study Program
2. Statement letter from the registrant and parents
3. Curriculum vitae (CV)
4. Transcript of academic record
5. Letter of motivation, minimum 1 page
6. Certificates, if applicable
Timeline:
17 – 23 April 2024 : Registration
24 – 30 April 2024 : Interview for selection process
1 May 2024 : Nomination list of Scholars
2 May – 10 Sep 2024 : Admission at HHN and Student Visa at Embassy of Germany, Jakarta
15 September 2024 – 15 February 2025 : Study at HHN
Successful students will receive an ISAP scholarship of €400 per month as well as a travel allowance of €1175. In addition, students will be waived from tuition fees.
In addition, one of the requirements for processing a German student visa is a blocked account of €934 per month. As DAAD provides a scholarship of €400 per month, students must open a blocked account of €534 per month, totaling €2,670 for 5 months at their own expense.
