Untar visited Universitas Ciputra Surabaya on Monday (18/9). The visit was conducted in order to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU).

Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., A.E. also presented a briefing regarding university management to Rector of Universitas Ciputra Ir. Yohannes Somawiharja, M.Sc., Dean of the Faculty of Management and Business of Universitas Ciputra Prof. Dr. Christina Whidya Utami, M.M., CLC, CPM, and Universitas Ciputra leaders.

Rector of Untar in his session conveyed various achievements related to the quality of education that Untar has made, including ISO, Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI), achievement of Excellent institutional accreditation, and internationalization.

“Untar has successfully obtained a three-star rating in the QS World University Rankings in 2019. This year we received a four-star rating from QS, as well as a three-star rating in the AppliedHE Private University Ranking: ASEAN+,” said Rector.

In addition, Rector also emphasized that Untar is committed to always improving its quality. This is proven by the achievement of 10 Excellent-accredited study programs and eight A-accredited study programs, as well as the growth in the number of published national and international journals.

Rector of Universitas Ciputra specifically expressed his appreciation to Untar for being present on his campus. Both universities are expected to inspire each other and strengthen cooperation to improve the quality of education in Indonesia.
