Faculty of Psychology (FPsi) Untar student Reagan Alexandre holds the title of Abang Jakarta Barat on the final night of the Abang None Jakarta Barat 2023 event at Aston Kartika Hotel, West Jakarta, Friday (7/21).

Driven by the desire to increase knowledge, experience, relationships, and discipline, Reagan who has undergone a series of coaching processes from May 29 – July 20, 2023 managed to beat around 140 other finalists.

He revealed that he is determined to become a Jakarta ambassador who is dedicated in serving the community starting from West Jakarta.

“I want to make Jakarta an inclusive, cultured, and advanced city,” said Reagan.

In addition to adding insights related to the tourism sector and creative economy in Indonesia, Reagan admitted that during the event she could learn to apply Untar’s values of Integrity, Professionalism, and Entrepreneurship (IPE).

“I want to apply these values by becoming an Abang Jakarta Barat figure with integrity by always upholding the values of honesty, responsibility, and dedication,” he said.

Furthermore, she always respects others by showing professionalism, and has a vision to make new breakthroughs in the field of creative economy.

Through her achievements, Reagan hopes that all Untar students can dare to get out of their comfort zone to make an innovation.

“Indeed, the biggest victory is when we manage to overcome doubts and fears, and easily let go,” said Reagan.

The Abang None West Jakarta event is a forum for creation, association, and collaboration for young people who are selected as ambassadors of tourism and creative economy, especially in West Jakarta. (DN/YS/AW)
