Every May 2nd, we are invited to pause and reflect on the meaning of education in the nation’s journey. National Education Day, or commonly known as Hardiknas, is not just a symbolic commemoration, but a moment to strengthen the resolve to advance education in Indonesia.

This year, Hardiknas 2025 carries the theme “Universal Participation to Realize Quality Education for All”. This theme reminds us that quality education cannot be built by one party alone. It requires active involvement from all sectors of society—the government, educational institutions, the business world, communities, families, and of course, students. More than just mastering knowledge, today’s education is also expected to shape character, build leadership skills, and foster social awareness—as taught by Ki Hajar Dewantara.
