Untar held Career Week 2024 with the theme “Shape Your Career Path and Prepare for a Bright Future” at Campus I Untar, Wednesday (20/3).

The Career Week that aims to bring students together with the industrial world is filled with seminar sessions and job fairs.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. in his speech said that Untar always encourages students to be active academically but also non-academically as one of the steps to improve the quality and qualifications of Untar students.

He hoped that the job fair can support students’ future in the professional world.

In addition, he also said that Untar is always open for cooperation with companies in conducting trainings at Untar.

Present as speakers for the seminar were Human Resource & General Affair Division Head of PT Maybank Indonesia Finance Ika Gunawan, S.Psi., M.M., CHRP, CHCP-A and Senior Consultant of TwimBit Habibul Fuadi Hanif.

Ika Gunawan who presented the material “Tips and Tricks for Entering the World of Work” gave advice on how to adapt when starting to enter the professional world. One of them is about work ethic and the AADC method (Agile, Adaptive, Determine, Communicative). According to him, these two things can help students achieve success.

Meanwhile, the second speaker Habibul Fuadi presented the material “Shape Your Career Path and Prepare for a Bright Future” which contained tips on CV making, preparation for job interviews, and others.

In addition to the seminar, there was also a job fair attended by 21 leading Indonesian companies from various fields.

PT Astra Honda Motor Recruitment & Branding Analyst Paskalis Sukoto, who attended the event, admitted that the activities held by Untar were interesting.
