“Untar untuk Indonesia: Towards World Class University” becomes the theme of Untar Annual Work Meeting (RKTU) 2023. This topic is in line with the support of Kemendikbudristek in promoting Untar to be a World Class University (WCU), along with several other universities.

This statement was said by Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., IPU, AE in the opening of RKTU 2023 at Novotel Convention Center, Bogor, Wednesday (3/5).

Aside of performance evaluation, this work meeting which held until 6 May became a forum for university leaders in discussing strategic plan, particularly in improving Untar’s peformance to be a WCU, through achievements in the fields of tridarma and its implementations, including cooperation, publication, research, and lecturer and student exchange.

Rector emphasized, that every stakeholder from study program, faculty, lecturer, student, and foundation needs to synergize in executing programs, in order to produce internationally reputed works. Therefore, study programs are prompted to involve their lecturers and students in producing quality works internationally. Certainly, the works must be beneficial to national and international society.

Attended by Chairman of Tarumanagara Foundation Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H. and foundation leaders. To improve reputation internationally, QS Regional Director, Southeast Asia & Japan Representative E. Way Chong was also invited to give a brief explanation regarding QS Ranking. (JS/YS/AW)
