Three students from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) achieved recognition at the Udayana Accounting Days: International Accounting Competition (UAD Inaction) 2026, held at Universitas Udayana, Denpasar, Bali, from July 30–31, 2026.
The three students were Adrian Martinus Hartono, Cordelia Stella Chandra, and Steven Wiryajaya. They competed against participants from Indonesia and abroad in the competition, which carried the theme “Brighter Future for Young Accountants: Innovation, Integrity, and Sustainability.”
The competition brought together 35 teams, comprising 33 national teams and two international teams. Participants went through three stages, beginning with the preliminary and semifinal rounds held online, followed by the final round conducted on-site at Universitas Udayana.
In the semifinal round, the FEB Untar team prepared a paper on the application of data analytics-based artificial intelligence (AI) in the audit process to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial examinations. The final round consisted of a video presentation, crossword puzzle, and debate.
Cordelia Stella Chandra said the competition not only provided an opportunity to achieve recognition, but also taught the importance of teamwork and confidence in their own abilities.
“For us, this victory is not only about winning, but also about the process, teamwork, and how we continued to strive to give our best until the very end,” said Stella.
According to her, the competition experience also encouraged the team to remain confident in their abilities despite facing challenges and unpredictable outcomes.
Throughout the competition, the team was guided by FEB lecturer Widyasari, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA., CPA, ASEAN CPA, who provided guidance from the preparation stage through to the final round. (CJ/YS)
