The Faculty of Medicine (FK) of Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar), in collaboration with Future Education Institute, held a grand event for FK Untar students at the Auditorium on the 3rd Floor of the Main Building, Untar Campus I, on Wednesday (06/05/2026). The event served as a platform for international collaboration aimed at broadening students’ perspectives on the development of global medical competencies.

Through the event, students were encouraged to understand how medical expertise from Germany can be applied and further developed in Indonesia. The collaboration also aims to support doctors in Indonesia by providing opportunities for training and professional development in Germany through the FEDI Medical Program.

The event was conducted interactively through discussion sessions and presentations regarding educational opportunities, training programs, and international medical experiences. In addition, participants were able to join live sessions from Zurich and Frankfurt, offering direct cross-country learning experiences.

The event also featured international medical expert Stefan Zielen, who delivered a presentation on asthma in young children. His session provided in-depth insights into the treatment and latest developments related to childhood asthma from an international medical perspective.

This activity is expected to strengthen FK Untar’s international partnerships while opening broader opportunities for Indonesian students and medical professionals to enhance their competencies through global education and training programs. (KS/YS)
