Untar is opening opportunities for international collaboration through the exploration of academic cooperation with Nanning Normal University. The initiative took place during a meeting between the university’s delegation and Chairman of the Tarumanagara Foundation Board Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H., at Untar Campus I on Wednesday (15/04/2026), as part of efforts to expand global networks and enhance educational quality.
Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., who also participated in the discussion, emphasized that the collaboration represents a strategic step in opening opportunities for cross-border cooperation. According to him, Untar continues to promote internationalization through various programs, ranging from student exchanges to academic collaborations among lecturers. “This collaboration is part of Untar’s commitment to strengthening global networks and enhancing the competitiveness of its graduates,” he stated.
The delegation from Nanning Normal University was led directly by President Long Guangqing along with faculty leaders and representatives from the international cooperation unit. During the meeting, both institutions discussed potential collaborations in various areas, including student exchange programs, guest lectures, as well as the development of joint research and academic activities.
Untar also involved leaders from various units and faculties in the meeting, including Untar Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Sri Tiatri, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., Psikolog; Head of the Institute for Cooperation and International Relations Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ir. Hugeng, S.T., M.T., SMIEEE, IPU; as well as deans from several faculties. The involvement of multiple units demonstrated Untar’s readiness to implement the collaboration concretely and sustainably.
Through this initiative, Untar aims to establish a strategic partnership that will not only broaden the international perspectives of its academic community, but also strengthen Untar’s position as a university actively engaged in global collaboration. (VC/YS)
