Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) officially established a partnership with GH Raisoni College of Engineering (GHRCE), India, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Friday (30/01/2026) at the 5th Floor of the M Building, Campus I Untar. The agreement marks the strengthening of strategic cooperation between the two institutions in the fields of education, research, and community service at the international level.
The signing ceremony was attended by Rector of Universitas Tarumanagara Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., accompanied by Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Dr. Ir. Wilson Kosasih, S.T., M.T., IPM, ASEAN Eng., and Head of the Undergraduate Mechanical Engineering Program Ir. Didi Widya Utama, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. Representing GHRCE were Director and Principal Dr. Sachin Untawale, along with Dr. Ashish Raut, Dr. Yogesh Nandanwar, Dr. Pramod Walke, Dr. Sourabh Shukla, and Dr. Rupesh Shelke.
The event was held in a warm and collaborative atmosphere, accompanied by discussions on various opportunities for academic cooperation. Both institutions explored the development of student exchange and internship programs as concrete implementations of the MoU.
In his remarks, Dr. Sachin Untawale expressed appreciation for the newly established partnership and welcomed Untar’s initiative to expand its international network. He noted that the collaboration represents an important step toward strengthening globally oriented education.
The collaboration also carries the theme “One Earth, One Unity,” reflecting both institutions’ commitment to fostering academic relations and mutually beneficial cultural exchange.
The event concluded with a plaque exchange and group photo session as symbols of synergy between the two institutions. Through this partnership, Untar and GHRCE are expected to further contribute to the development of higher education through various programs that benefit the academic community. (KS/YS)
