The inauguration of several revitalized academic facilities at Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) was held on Thursday (29/1/2026). The event, centered at the Seminar Room of the L Building, Campus I, was attended by leaders from the Yayasan Tarumanagara and Untar, as well as lecturers and educational staff.

The revitalized facilities include the Medical Learning Hub, the Seminar Room in Building L, the Urban & Regional Planning – Real Estate Study Program space, along with several university offices and institutional units. The facility upgrades are intended to support academic activities as well as student development.

Rector of Universitas Tarumanagara Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M. stated that facility revitalization plays an important role in strengthening the working spirit of the academic community. “This revitalization serves as encouragement to improve the performance of the entire academic community, at the university, faculty, study program, and lecturer levels,” he said.

He expressed hope that the renewed facilities would be utilized optimally to support academic programs, institutional management, and interdisciplinary scientific development.

Chair of the Tarumanagara Foundation Board Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H. added that the inauguration forms part of the foundation’s efforts to strengthen the educational ecosystem within the university.

Meanwhile, Chair of the Supervisory Board of Tarumanagara Foundation Drs. Indra Gunawan Masman, M.B.A., expressed hope that the revitalization initiative would continue and expand to other faculties, thereby enhancing the quality of both lecturers and students.

The revitalized facilities are expected to support the creation of a more representative and adaptive academic environment, while also aligning with the university’s vision to strengthen its global competitiveness. (VA/YS)
