The Faculty of Engineering (FT) of Untar held a thanksgiving ceremony to celebrate the achievement of the “Excellent” Accreditation awarded to its Undergraduate Industrial Engineering Study Program on Monday (27/10/2025) at the Industrial Engineering Study Program Secretariat Room, L Building, Untar Campus I. The event carried the theme “Gratitude and Continuous Innovation for Sustainable Excellence.”
The ceremony opened by FT Untar Dean Ir. Harto Tanujaya, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., and Head of the Undergraduate Industrial Engineering Study Program Dr. Ir. Wilson Kosasih, S.T., M.T., I.P.M., CSCM, CPLM, ASEAN Eng. Also in attendance were university leaders, heads of study programs from Architecture, Civil Engineering, Urban and Regional Planning, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, as well as lecturers and staff members of the Industrial Engineering Study Program.

In his remarks, FT Untar Dean Ir. Harto Tanujaya expressed appreciation for the collective efforts of the entire team.
“I would like to congratulate the Undergraduate Industrial Engineering Study Program of Untar and all educational staff who have worked tirelessly to achieve the ‘Excellent’ Accreditation. May this accomplishment continue to be upheld through dedication and high academic standards,” he said.

Meanwhile, Head of the Industrial Engineering Study Program Dr. Wilson Kosasih emphasized that the achievement was the result of a shared commitment to continuous innovation. “This achievement is a tangible reflection of our commitment to producing high-quality graduates who can make meaningful contributions to society. I would like to thank all lecturers, students, alumni, assessors, and everyone who has contributed to this success,” he stated.
The event continued with the screening of a video documenting the Industrial Engineering Study Program’s journey toward achieving the “Excellent” Accreditation. This was followed by the ceremonial cutting of tumpeng as an expression of gratitude and concluded with a gathering and communal meal in a spirit of togetherness.
This achievement demonstrates the ongoing efforts of Industrial Engineering Untar to enhance the quality of higher education in ways that are responsive to industry needs, while further strengthening Untar’s position as a distinguished and competitive university at both the national and international levels.
