Untar continues to strengthen its internationalization efforts through a visit from a delegation of the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School to Campus I Universitas Tarumanagara on Wednesday (8/10/2025). The visit is part of Universitas Tarumanagara’s initiative to expand its international network and open opportunities for global academic collaboration that benefit students, lecturers, and the institution.
The delegation from NUS Business School consisted of Head of Strategic Relations Melanie and Head of MSc Programmes Mui Kim. They were warmly welcomed by the Rector of Universitas Tarumanagara, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., along with university leaders, including Head of the Office of Public Relations & Multimedia Rorlen, S.E., M.M., Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Tarumanagara Prof. Dr. Sawidji Widoatmodjo, S.E., M.M., M.B.A., Head of the Bachelor of Business Accounting Study Program Dr. Hendro Lukman, S.E., M.M., CPMA, CA, CPA (Aust.), CSRS, ACPA, as well as Head of the Bachelor of Business Management Study Program Dr. Frangky Selamat, S.E., M.M., and other program leaders.
The meeting took place in a warm and productive atmosphere. Both institutions discussed potential collaboration in various areas, such as student exchange, international seminars, cross-border internship programs, and the development of joint research projects relevant to current global needs.
Dean of FEB Universitas Tarumanagara, Prof. Dr. Sawidji Widoatmodjo, emphasized the importance of this moment as a strategic step to strengthen inter-institutional cooperation.
“I feel that today’s meeting between Universitas Tarumanagara and NUS Business School is very important for both parties as it allows us to discuss various rare opportunities that are expected to bring positive benefits for both sides. As the Dean, I fully support the opportunities that will be implemented,” he said.
Through this visit, Universitas Tarumanagara reaffirmed its commitment to continuously expand international relations and provide a dynamic academic experience for its academic community. This effort is aligned with Universitas Tarumanagara’s vision to become an internationally competitive university capable of producing globally competitive graduates.
