Untar hosted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Higher Education, themed “Challenges and Governance of the Higher Education Industry in the Future.” The event was held on Thursday (25/9/2025) at Campus I Untar.

The FGD was attended by Untar’s leadership, representatives of the Tarumanagara Foundation, deans from various faculties, and members of the academic community. The keynote speaker was Dr. Fuad Wiyono, S.H., M.H., an expert auditor and former Inspector for Investigations at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Higher Education, who shared strategic insights on the future direction of higher education policy and governance in Indonesia.

In his opening remarks, the Rector of Untar, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., expressed his appreciation for the organization of the event.

“I hope this discussion will provide valuable insights from the material presented by Dr. Fuad, which is certainly within his area of expertise. Hopefully, we can engage in meaningful discussions and exchange useful information today,” he said.

The discussion was conducted in an interactive atmosphere, with participants actively contributing questions and feedback. This reflected Untar’s commitment to continuously adapting to regulatory changes and the global challenges faced by higher education institutions. Through this forum, Untar reaffirmed its dedication to making meaningful contributions to the development of national education.

The event concluded with the presentation of a token of appreciation to the speaker, followed by a group photo session with all participants. The occasion symbolized the strong partnership between Untar and the government in strengthening collaboration toward better governance of higher education in the future.
