Untar officially opened the series of events commemorating its 66th Anniversary by organizing friendly sports competitions at Tarumanagara Arena, Campus I Untar, from 15–19 September 2025.

The event featured badminton and volleyball competitions. Participants included Untar lecturers, staff members, and students, as well as representatives from the Tarumanagara Foundation, Ikatan Taruna Untar (ITARU), Royal Taruma Hospital, and the Tomang Urban Village administration.

In his opening remarks, the Rector of Untar, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., stated that the Family Match was expected to serve as a platform for showcasing non-academic talents while strengthening solidarity within the academic community.

“This event is not merely a competition but also an opportunity to strengthen relationships among members of the extended Untar family,” he said.

In addition to the friendly matches, a series of other activities will be held leading up to the anniversary’s main celebration as part of the commemoration and reflection on Untar’s 66-year journey. (VC/YS)
