Students from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Universitas Tarumanagara once again achieved a remarkable accomplishment at the national level. The Going Concern Team, consisting of Steven Delon Herjana, Ferdyanto Gunawan, and Kelvin from the Management Study Program, secured Second Place in the HI-TECH 7 Business Plan Competition organized by the Information Systems and Information Technology Student Association (HIMASISTIFO) of Caltex Riau Polytechnic. The competition was part of a broader series of events under the theme “Connecting Ideas, Creating Impact,” held from 14 April to 14 June 2025.

The final round of the Business Plan Competition was conducted in a hybrid format, both online and onsite, with activities centered at Caltex Riau Polytechnic. Participants from various regions across Indonesia presented innovative business ideas. The Going Concern Team introduced “NEX-FIT: Try Before You Buy,” a solution powered by Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies designed to reduce product return rates in the fashion e-commerce industry.

In addition to the competition, the HI-TECH 7 series also featured a technopreneurship seminar held on 16 May 2025 at the Caltex Riau Polytechnic Auditorium and broadcast live via Instagram. The seminar featured Nadya Eka Putri (Coudh) as the keynote speaker, sharing her experiences in building technology-based businesses in the digital era.

“HI-TECH 7 is more than just a competition; it is a platform for showcasing intelligent and solution-oriented ideas born from the collaboration of technology and empathy. We believe that with the right platform, innovation can create a significant impact,” said a representative of the HIMASISTIFO organizing committee.

The HI-TECH 7 Business Plan Competition consisted of two stages: the preparation of a Business Model Canvas (BMC) during the semifinal round, followed by proposal presentations and pitching sessions in the final round. The competition themes and subthemes challenged participants to develop creative solutions addressing contemporary issues, including Edutech, Green Innovation, and Inclusive Technology.

Through this achievement, the Going Concern Team not only participated as competitors but also contributed to fostering a collaborative ecosystem for young technopreneurs committed to delivering meaningful and impactful solutions for society. (VC/AJ)
