Inauguration of New Facilities at Untar Ready to Support Academic Performance

Untar University has several new facilities, which were officially inaugurated by the Chairman of the Tarumanagara Foundation, Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H., and the Rector of Untar, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Untar Campus I.

The facilities that were inaugurated include the Untar Rectorate Office, Tarumanagara Psychology Center, and the Academic Hub for the Faculty of Engineering (FT) Secretariat. These facilities are part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of academic and administrative services within the university.

The Rector of Untar, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the inauguration of several new spaces at Untar. He hopes that through the revitalization and improvement of facilities and infrastructure, the quality and performance within Untar will continue to improve.

“With the revitalization and improvement of these facilities and infrastructure, it is hoped that it will enhance the reputation, excellence, and performance of the faculty members and staff at Untar,” he said.

He mentioned that the development of these facilities aims to provide comfort and support for the academic community in carrying out their tasks and responsibilities more effectively, thereby helping to realize Untar’s vision and mission as an outstanding educational institution.

The inauguration was symbolically marked by the signing of a commemorative plaque by the Chairman of the Tarumanagara Foundation Board of Trustees, Ir. Nanda Widya, and the Chairman of the Tarumanagara Foundation, Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H..

The Chairman of the Tarumanagara Foundation stated that the development of infrastructure at Untar is expected to improve the performance of faculty members and staff, create representative spaces to welcome collaboration partners, and support the enhancement of services and academic development, particularly in the areas of internationalization, academic innovation, and industry collaboration.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Tarumanagara Foundation Board of Trustees emphasized to the Rector of Untar and all university officials the importance of continually improving quality and rankings in order to make Untar the best university.

As part of the event, a presentation was also held for the launch of Mental Wellness Support, a platform aimed at providing assistance and resources to support individuals’ mental health. The presentation was delivered by Meiske Yunithree Suparman, M.Psi., Psychologist, from the Tarumanagara Psychology Center. (VC/YS/AJ/VC)
