Inauguration of New Facilities at Untar Ready to Support Academic Performance

The Untar campus has several new facilities that were inaugurated by the Chairman of the Tarumanagara Foundation, Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H., and Untar Rector, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., on Thursday (5/12/2024) at Untar Campus I. The facilities that were inaugurated include the Untar Rector’s Office, the Tarumanagara Psychology Center, and the Academic Hub Secretariat of the Faculty of Engineering (FT). These facilities are part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of academic and administrative services within the university. Untar Rector Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the inauguration of the new rooms at the Untar campus. He hopes that through the revitalization and improvement of these facilities, the quality and performance within Untar will continue to improve.

With the revitalization and improvement of these facilities, it is hoped that it will enhance the reputation, excellence, and performance of Untar’s faculty and staff,” he said. He explained that the development of these facilities aims to provide comfort and support for the academic community in carrying out their duties and responsibilities more optimally, thus helping realize Untar’s vision and mission as an excellent educational institution. The inauguration was symbolically carried out with the signing of a plaque by the Chairman of the Tarumanagara Foundation, Ir. Nanda Widya, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Tarumanagara Foundation, Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H.

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Tarumanagara Foundation mentioned that the infrastructure development at Untar is expected to improve the performance of faculty and staff, create representative spaces to welcome cooperation partners, and support the enhancement of services and academic development, especially in aspects of internationalization, academic innovation, and industry collaboration. Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Tarumanagara Foundation emphasized to the Rector of Untar and all of his staff the importance of continuously improving quality and rankings in order to make Untar the best university. During this event, a presentation was also held for the launch of the Mental Wellness Support initiative, a platform aimed at providing assistance and resources to support individual mental health. The presentation was delivered by Meiske Yunithree Suparman, M.Psi., Psychologist, from the Tarumanagara Psychology Center. (VC/YS/AJ/VC)
