Student Executive Board (BEM) Untar held Open House (OH) for Student Activity Unit (UKM). This activity is carried out at the beginning of each new academic year as part of the new student admission activities. The event took place at Untar Campus I and II from September 17-19, 2024.
Held on two campuses simultaneously, it is expected to reach more students, especially new students. The purpose of this event is to provide a forum to introduce 26 UKM in Untar and become an opportunity for students to choose UKM according to their interests and talents so that they can develop their potential.
“UKM OH can provide a wider opportunity for them to find a community that suits their interests and talents, as well as strengthen the existence of UKM at Untar,” said Agnes Rosandi, as the Chief Executive of UKM OH 2024.
This year, UKM OH Untar carries the theme “Expand Horizons by Developing Talent and Embracing Passion” with the tagline “Unleash Potential, Embrace Passion”.
Agnes, who is a student of the Faculty of Communication Sciences (Fikom) also explained, “the selection of this theme is expected to make UKM OH a place for new students to broaden their horizons, explore hidden potential, and discover and nurture their interests and talents by joining Untar UKM.”
The various categories of UKM Untar consist of religion (FUT, Dharmayana, POUT, Adhyatmaka, KBMK); nature lovers (MAPALA) (MEGA, MAHUPA, MARSIPALA); sports (LIBAMA, LIVOSTA, LBUT, LTMU, Futsal); martial arts (Wushu, Taekwondo, Jujitsu); and arts (BAR, WMKT, Sentra, PSUT, CP, Shousin, PFT, FESTA, Radio Untar, TEC).
Each UKM booth competed to display the best and attractive by giving a good impression. (VC/YS/PA/KJ)
