Untar Continues to Enhance Lecturers’ Skills through PEKERTI

The third batch of the 2024 Basic Instructional Techniques Skills Improvement Program (PEKERTI) concluded with an offline closing ceremony at the Auditorium of Campus I Untar on Wednesday (24/7/2024). The program was organized through a collaboration between Untar and the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDikti) Region III Jakarta.

The continuation of the PEKERTI training program aims to enhance lecturers’ competencies and was once again conducted in partnership with Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI).

Over the course of seven days, participants consisting of lecturers from Untar and UBSI received training from several Untar lecturers serving as instructors. The program was designed to strengthen participants’ teaching skills and their ability to develop high-quality learning plans.

On this occasion, Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng., who also officially closed the event, expressed his hope that participants would broaden their perspectives and build stronger collaborations.

“You can certainly become outstanding lecturers if you continue to innovate and consistently improve your teaching materials in line with the development of the times,” he said.

The Rector also emphasized the importance of the collaboration that had been established throughout the seven-day program. “Hopefully, we can build strong collaborations, strengthen cooperation among universities, foster partnerships among lecturers, and exchange information related to teaching and learning activities,” he added.

Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (FSRD) Untar Kurnia Setiawan, who also participated in the program, expressed his appreciation to the instructors for their expertise in conducting the training and hoped that the knowledge gained could be effectively implemented.

Meanwhile, another participant, UBSI lecturer Diah Andianingsari, expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to join the PEKERTI program at Untar. “Untar is one of the best universities in Jakarta and also in Indonesia,” she said.

The third batch of PEKERTI 2024 was attended by 53 participants, consisting of lecturers from Untar and UBSI. (DP/YS/KJ)
