The creative economy is one of the main pillars in Indonesia’s economic development. This sector not only contributes significantly to GDP, but also creates many jobs and encourages the growth of new industries based on innovation.
This was conveyed by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno at the I/O Festival 2024 themed “TechSphere: Unleash Your Creativity, Expand Your Journey”.
