The open examination was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ir. In his research, Dedy presented strategies for companies to effectively implement corporate cultural values among employees, particularly within the context of family-owned businesses and the furniture industry.
The study aimed to develop a model illustrating the relationship between attitudes, subjective norms, and individual values toward employee behavior, while also identifying appropriate strategies for shaping employee conduct based on the values upheld by family-owned enterprises.
Dedy Rochimat became the third doctoral graduate of Untar’s Doctor of Management Science Program, achieving a perfect GPA of 4.00 and earning the distinction of cum laude. He is the founder and leader of PT Gema Graha Sarana Tbk, a position he has held since 1986, and successfully led the company to become a publicly listed corporation in 2002. He currently serves as President Commissioner of eight companies.
Rector of Untar, Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng., who also acted as the Main Promotor, encouraged the newly conferred doctor to continue conducting research and collaborating with promotors, professors, and fellow lecturers.
“Dedy Rochimat is the type of student who is diligent in writing. His achievement is remarkable because his publications have gained international recognition. Many lecturers struggle to publish in Scopus Q3 journals, but he has succeeded,” he said. (DP/YS/KJ)
