Untar welcomed a delegation from Universitas Sam Ratulangi (Unsrat), Manado, at Campus I Untar on Wednesday (15/5). The visit was conducted as part of a benchmarking program focused on student affairs activities.

The Unsrat delegation, led by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Grevo Soleman Gerung, M.Sc., was welcomed by Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng., along with members of the university leadership.

In his remarks, the Rector expressed Untar’s readiness to support Unsrat in various fields, including student affairs.

“Untar is very open to collaborating with various institutions, including Unsrat,” he said.

Chairman of the Student Affairs and Alumni Institute Dr. Adianto, M.Sc. explained that Untar actively supports a wide range of student activities.

“Untar has hosted national events such as the National Church Choir Festival (Pesparawi) and the National Student Choir Competition (PSMN),” he stated.

He added that Untar students actively participate in student development programs through 26 Student Activity Units and three student organizations.

The Vice Rector of Unsrat expressed his intention to establish collaboration with Untar in the near future. He hoped that the quality of student affairs at Unsrat could be further enhanced through meaningful and productive partnerships.

He also conveyed his appreciation to Untar for hosting the visit and expressed hope that the meeting would serve as a positive first step toward strengthening academic relations between Unsrat and Untar.
