Indonesia’s Presidential Chief of Staff and Chairman of the Indonesian Electric Vehicle Association (Periklindo) Gen. TNI (Ret.) Dr. H. Moeldoko. S.I.P. became a guest lecturer at a public lecture themed “Untar for Indonesia and the World: “Student Leadership Towards Excellent Human Resources for Golden Indonesia 2045” at the Auditorium of Untar Campus I, Tuesday (19/3).
Moeldoko in his presentation entitled “Opportunities and Challenges for Young People Towards a Golden Indonesia 2045” revealed that Indonesia has many young people who can bring Indonesia forward.
This makes Indonesia have the potential to become a developed country with high competitiveness and income, in line with the vision of the Golden Indonesia 2045.
To achieve this vision in 2045, quality and talented human resources with international competitiveness are needed.
However, statistics show that Indonesia is still lagging behind in several aspects related to human resources.
In response to this, Moeldoko said that the Government has designed a strategy that is compiled in the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN).
Moeldoko believes that the RPJMN, which includes human resource development, infrastructure development, regulatory reform, bureaucratic reform, and economic transformation, is an effective strategy to develop Indonesia’s young generation into superior human resources.
“Indonesia has poured large funds in education to move the young generation to become superior human resources,” he concluded.
Moeldoko also said that Untar as a university has run learning that can create qualified graduates.
“Untar has prepared how to combine the knowledge gained and the real world experienced,” Moeldoko concluded.
Chairman of Tarumanagara Foundation Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H. who attended the event said that the topic chosen was very relevant to Indonesia’s current needs.
He hoped that the public lecture can inspire the young generation of Indonesia, especially Untar students to become future leaders.
Untar’s Cooperation with Periklindo
