Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., A.E. was a speaker at the National Webinar themed “Efforts to Improve Quality through the Preparation of IKU and IKT” online, Friday (8/9).

The webinar was organized by the Indonesian Vocational Academic Leaders Association (PPAVI) and the Indonesian Catholic Lecturers Association (IKDKI).

In his session, the Rector discussed the concept and practice of quality improvement for private universities, in his presentation entitled “Concept and Practice of Quality Improvement of Private Universities (Untar) through the preparation of KPI and KPI”.

He revealed that Untar has carried out quality assurance activities internally and externally. Internally, Untar has implemented the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI). Externally, Untar has been accredited, both at the institution and study program level.

“SPMI in Untar has been certified according to ISO 9001:2015. This accreditation certification can support quality assurance, so it is important for an educational institution to have,” concluded the Rector who also serves as the Chairman of IKDKI.

Also attended Vice President of Binus Higher Education Prof. Dr. Ir. Harjanto Prabowo, M.M., university leaders, spmi and quality assurance teams, heads of study programs and secretary programs, and lecturers of universities in Indonesia. (YI/AW)
