Accounting student of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Untar Esperansya Desmonda Woen won 1st Runner Up and Most Collaborative Team Award in the final round of ICAEW Indonesia Business Challenge (IBC) 2023 in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, Saturday (13/5).
Esperansya, who was part of the All-Star Team, competed with six students from five different countries. Despite all the differences, Esperansya and the team managed to make this achievement.
“Our performance bears witness that despite the differences in countries and backgrounds, we can synergize and work together to produce an output with a wider scope of knowledge,” said Esperansya.
Esperansya especially thanked FEB Untar, her parents, and friends for the opportunity and encouragement given during the competition.
Previously, Esperansya won The Best Speaker award at the ICAEW Indonesia Business Challenge (IBC) at Ayana MidPlaza, Jakarta, Thursday (30/3). This award led Esperansya to become Indonesia’s representative on the All-Star Team in the final round.
ICAEW Indonesia Business Challenge (IBC) is a competition for accounting and business administration students registered by universities that have partnered with The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) to empower qualified students who are ready to enter the world of work in finance.
