Prof. Dr. Dyah from the Faculty of Information Technology Untar researched remote sensing, data mining, machine learning, and robust statistics. Proposing a Robust Statistical method known as Minimum Vector Variance (MVV) in 2006, this method is widely used as a reference and a strong-statistical measure by several researchers, including Filzmoser (a well-known researcher from the Department of Statistics and Probability Theory, Vienna University of Technology). In 2013, she was invited as a Visiting Researcher at the Department of Mathematical Engineering at CNAM University Paris, France, and as a Visiting Researcher at the Faculty of Science, Department of Mathematics, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2012.
