Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) participated in the Indonesia Postgraduate and Research Expo (IPRE) 2026 at Kartika Expo, Balai Kartini, Jakarta, Wednesday (23/9/2026). At the event, Untar opened a booth in the research area to introduce research activities and developments carried out by its academic community.

IPRE 2026 was part of the 21st Jakarta Higher Education Week (PPTJ), organized by Profajar Eksibit Nusantara (PROFEX) in collaboration with the Higher Education Service Institution (LLDikti) Region III Jakarta. This year’s event carried the theme “Powering Indonesia 2045.”

The exhibition brought together higher education institutions, research organizations, researchers, postgraduate students, industry players, and other stakeholders involved in research and innovation. The event also provided information on postgraduate education, research opportunities, funding, scholarships, and career development.

Head of LLDikti Region III Dr. Henri Togar Hasiholan Tambunan, S.E., M.A. said the event was in line with the spirit of Diktisaintek Berdampak, which encourages higher education institutions to ensure that the results of education, research, and innovation provide benefits to society.

“Many impactful research projects from both private and public universities can be showcased to the public. This exhibition provides an opportunity for postgraduate students to present their research and talents, which can contribute to national development,” he said.

More than 80 institutions participated in IPRE 2026, including higher education institutions within LLDikti Region III, universities from various regions in Indonesia and abroad, as well as research organizations.

In addition to the exhibition, IPRE 2026 featured several discussion forums bringing together postgraduate program leaders, researchers, lecturers, and practitioners. Topics included research quality development as well as patent protection and management.

Untar’s participation in IPRE 2026 provided an opportunity to expand interactions with higher education institutions and research organizations while introducing research developments at the university. Through its booth in the research area, Untar also presented information on research activities, innovations, and academic developments carried out by its academic community as part of the implementation of the tridharma of higher education. The participation is expected to open opportunities for collaboration and expand the utilization of research outcomes to benefit society. (CJ/YS)
