In commemoration of National Education Day (Hardiknas) 2026, Universitas Tarumanagara held an award ceremony to recognize lecturers, staff members, and students who have achieved outstanding accomplishments. Carrying the theme “Strengthening Collective Participation to Realize Quality Education for All,” the event took place on Tuesday (05/05/2026) at Untar Campus I.
On this occasion, Rector of Universitas Tarumanagara, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., expressed his appreciation for all lecturers who play an essential role within higher education institutions.
“The role of lecturers reflects the long journey of education itself—someone who once learned, was guided, experienced failure, and rose again in the process of seeking and understanding knowledge,” he stated.
“I often see that the best education is born from simple things: from small discussion spaces, sincere guidance, and hard work that may not always be visible. That is where the quality of education is built—not only through facilities, but through the hearts and commitment of all of us,” he continued.

Untarian Awards sendiri merupakan momentum yang digelar berkala setiap tahunnya, mengapresiasi dosen, karyawan dan mahasiswa. Dalam perayaan di tahun ini, Untar memberikan apresiasi dalam rangka “Dosen dan Karyawan dengan Masa Jabatan Lebih dari 25 tahun”, “Penghargaan Kepada Akreditasi Program Studi” yang ada di Untar, serta “Mahasiswa dengan Prestasi di Tingkat Nasional dan Internasional”.
One of the award recipients, 2023 student of the Faculty of Communication Sciences (Fikom) Untar, Claribel Halim, stated that the appreciation reflected the university’s commitment and dedication in supporting students to continue achieving accomplishments at both national and international levels.
Melanjutkan pernyataannya, Claribel menyampaikan, “kegiatan Untarian Awards ini berbuah positif dalam menumbuhkan semangat dan antusiasme mahasiswa yang berprestasi maupun yang akan berprestasi dan harapannya dapat terus dilanjutkan dengan lebih baik lagi.”

Also present at the event were Secretary of the Tarumanagara Foundation Board, Vedrych J. Kusnanto, S.Kom., M.M., representatives of the Tarumanagara Foundation management, deans and leadership representatives from the nine faculties at Untar, as well as heads of institutions and offices within Untar.
