The academic community of Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) commemorated National Education Day (Hardiknas) 2025 with a ceremony and the presentation of awards through the Untarian Awards 2025 event.
The event, held at the Auditorium of Untar Campus I on Friday (May 2, 2025), marked an important moment in reinforcing Untar’s commitment to advancing education and the achievements of the academic community.
The ceremony began with a solemn flag-raising, followed by the reading of the message from the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Mendiktisaintek), Prof. Brian Yuliarto, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D., delivered by Untar Vice Rector, Sri Tiatri, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., Psychologist.

The message emphasized the importance of collaboration among all parties in building an education system that is adaptive to global challenges, such as climate change, economic inequality, and the digital revolution.

Continuing the spirit of National Education Day commemoration, the Untarian Awards 2025 were presented to faculty members, students, and educational staff who excelled in academic, research, and community service fields. This award serves as a form of appreciation and motivation to continue innovating and making tangible contributions to society.
In her speech, the Vice Rector of Untar conveyed that this event is part of Untar’s efforts to realize its vision of becoming a world-class university. “Untar remains committed to improving the quality of education to produce graduates who are prepared to face future challenges and bring about positive change,” she stated.
Also present were the Heads of Study Programs, outstanding students, and educators from various faculties within Untar.
