Untar Rector Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M. attended the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with three universities in Perth, Australia, on Tuesday (8/10/2024).
The agreements were signed by Chairman of the Tarumanagara Foundation Board Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H. and representatives from Edith Cowan University, Curtin University, and Murdoch University.
The Untar Rector stated that the agreements with the three Australian universities would further strengthen Untar’s commitment to expanding its internationalization programs.
“This collaboration can be implemented through various International Outlook Innovation initiatives, such as joint degree and double degree programs, international transfer credit programs, international mobility opportunities for lecturers and students, as well as other internationally recognized academic innovation programs,” he explained.
He added that expanding and strengthening collaborative partnerships with strategic international universities is one of the most effective efforts in Untar’s transformation toward becoming a World Class University (WCU).
“This initiative will further enhance and continuously develop Untar’s reputation and excellence as one of the leading universities in Indonesia,” he emphasized.
Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H. expressed his hope that the agreements would be successfully implemented, contributing to the realization of Indonesia Emas 2045 through the improvement of human resource quality in higher education institutions such as Untar.
The agreements represent a positive step for the Tarumanagara Foundation, as the owner and manager of Untar, in its ongoing efforts to improve academic quality and enhance educational standards for students. (VC/YS/PA/KJ)
