Untar must excel in producing innovations that can support the sustainable development of the university environment, both in terms of academic and non-academic.

This was stated by the Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng. in the Untar Annual Work Meeting (RKTU) 2024 at Rancamaya Hotel Bogor, Monday (27/5). This year’s theme is “Innovation for Sustainable Development”.

The RKTU, which lasted until 29 May, evaluated the programs and achievements of institutions, offices, faculties, and study programs for the past year. In addition, the 2025 Priority Work Program was also discussed.

“The main focus is to produce sustainable innovation and continuous improvement in the implementation of the tridarma of higher education, collaboration, publications, and student and lecturer exchange programs,” said the Rector.

The Rector emphasized that the entire academic community needs to synergize in creating excellence, producing achievements that are beneficial to the people of Indonesia and globally.

The Chairman of Tarumanagara Foundation Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H. who attended the event hoped that Untar will be more advanced and developed. He also appreciated the performance done by Untar so far in serving the academic community.

“Tarumanagara Foundation is ready to support Untar’s programs in the future so that Untar can be more advanced and developed,” concluded Ariawan. (AW/KJ)
