Untar received a visit from Higher Education Service Institution Region XVI (LLDikti XVI) on Wednesday (11/15) at the Auditorium of Untar Campus 1. The visit aims to build partnership between universities within LLDikti XVI and Untar, which is an excellent accredited university.
Head of LLDikti XVI Munawir Razak, S.I.P., M.A. stated that there were 26 universities present, consisting of 17 universities, five colleges, one polytechnic, and two academies.
Munawir said that currently there are no universities in the LLDikti XVI region that are accredited with excellence. In fact, out of 400 study programs, only one is accredited Good.
“With Untar’s proven reputation as a superior university, we hope that the universities present today can learn about university management, so that later they can achieve superior accreditation as well,” Munawir added.
Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., A.E. explained that to maintain the sustainability of higher education, the management needs values, input, process, output, result, and sustainability system.
He emphasized that Untar has always adhered to the values of Integrity, Professionalism, and Entrepreneurship for 64 years of existence. In addition, the Rector also reminded that universities must produce useful outputs.
“Universities must have values because strong internal excellence must be made in accordance with the values to be achieved, not following other universities,” said the Rector.
During the visit, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was also signed with 30 universities under LLDikti XVI. Cooperation is carried out in the fields of joint research/conferences, student and lecturer exchanges, and various student activities.
The Rector hopes that this cooperation can be implemented well, and can improve the quality of higher education in Gorontalo, North Sulawesi, and Central Sulawesi.
Munawir especially appreciated Untar for receiving this visit. He hopes that Untar and LLDikti XVI can collaborate again in various other activities.
Also attending the event were representatives of LLDikti III Jakarta, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Rasji, S.H., M.H. along with the leadership of Untar. (ZR/AW)
