FK Untar delegates who attended the event
Faculty of Medicine (FK) was present as a guest in the talk show “Inspirator Awards and Drivers to Prevent Stunting” on Monday (17/7) at Studio 1 Kompas TV.
The talk show was organized by Tribun Network together with the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN). The 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) Megawati Soekarnoputri, recipient of the stunting prevention inspirator and activator award, was also present as a speaker in this talk show.
In her speech, Megawati said that stunting is a problem that is often ignored by the government, even though it is something that must be considered. According to her, stunting really needs to be introduced to the Indonesian people.
Megawati also advised women to be smart, so that in the future they will not be oppressed and can create quality generations in the future.
FK Untar student Filipo David Tamara had the opportunity to express his opinion. He conveyed that the stunting rate in Indonesia is high and stands at 21.6% and is a problem that must be considered.
“With the right stunting prevention, of course we as new doctors, will create a generation that is smart, healthy, strong, productive, and competitive,” said Filipo.
