Collaboration between students and the university is essential in creating a conducive and productive academic environment. This synergy not only enhances the quality of education but also fosters innovation and creativity among students.
This was conveyed by Untar Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng., during the inauguration of the Student Organization (Ormawa) and Student Activity Unit (UKM) leaders for the 2024/2025 term on Monday (5/8/2024) at the Auditorium of Untar Campus I.
“Strong collaboration is a crucial factor in creating an environment that supports academic growth and character development. I hope all newly inaugurated leaders will carry out their responsibilities with dedication and a collaborative spirit while always upholding the good name of our alma mater,” he stated.
During the ceremony, the presidents of three student organizations—the Student Executive Board (BEM), Student Representative Council (DPM), and Student Consultative Assembly (MPM)—were officially inaugurated, along with the leaders of 22 Student Activity Units covering religious, talent and interest, as well as sports activities.
Albert Tan, President of BEM Untar for the 2024/2025 term, expressed his hope that students would work together to enhance Untar’s reputation through various positive and innovative initiatives.
Also attending the event were Untar Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Rasji, S.H., M.H., heads of institutions and offices, deans, heads of study programs, lecturers, and representatives of Untar students. (VH/KJ/YS/KJ)
