Synopsis
Governance and Performance of Universitas Tarumanagara 2016–2024 provides a comprehensive overview of the management and development of Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) in accordance with the Republic of Indonesia’s Higher Education Law, as well as Untar’s vision, mission, and core values. These principles were translated into strategic plans that guided the implementation of the university’s Tri Dharma of Higher Education—Education, Research, and Community Service—throughout the 2016–2024 period.
The book also highlights Untar’s achievements and accomplishments during these years, demonstrating how its strategic initiatives have successfully guided the university toward the major goals and objectives it has established.
Author Profile
Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., ASEAN Eng.,
The author is a Professor in Engineering at Untar and holds the rank of Pembina Utama IV-e. He earned his Bachelor’s degree and Professional Engineer qualification in Mechanical Engineering from UGM, a Professional Engineer qualification from ITB, Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Mechanical Engineering from UI, and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering and Management from Untar.
He began his academic career at Untar as a full-time lecturer and subsequently served as Secretary of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and currently serves as Rector and Director of the Graduate Program.
Throughout his service, Prof. Agustinus has obtained Educator Certificate, Main Professional Engineer (IPU) Certificate from BKM-PII, ASEAN Engineer (ASEAN Eng.) Certificate from AFEO, Engineer Registration Certificate (STRI) from PII, and LAM Teknik Assessor.
As part of his contributions to higher education, Prof. Agustinus has authored 16 books and teaching materials, while also securing numerous intellectual property rights and research grants.
In addition to his academic activities, he actively participates in scientific endeavors, business ventures, professional associations, and various social initiatives.
Among the awards and recognitions he has received are Best Graduate of the Master’s Program, Faculty of Engineering UI (2003), First Best Lecturer of Kopertis Region III DKI Jakarta (2011), Best Presenter at the Research Results Seminar of the PUPT Higher Education Decentralization Program (2014), Honorary Member of The ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations (AFEO) (2018), Best Private University Rector Award from the Ministry of Higher Education through the Academic Leader Award Program (2019 and 2023), and the Distinguished Leadership Award from the IEOM Society (2022).
