The Postgraduate Program of Universitas Tarumanagara held its Odd Semester 2025/2026 Yudisium on Saturday (28/2/2026) at Untar Campus I. The event marked the graduation of master’s and doctoral students prior to the official graduation ceremony.
Present at the ceremony were Head of the Doctoral Program in Management Science Prof. Dr. Haris Maupa, S.E., M.Si., Head of the Master of Management Program Prof. Dr. Keni, S.E., M.M., along with postgraduate leaders and lecturers.
In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Keni, S.E., M.M. stated that the yudisium serves as an important milestone before graduation as well as a moment of reflection on academic achievements. He explained that the distinction of cum laude is awarded to graduates who achieve a cumulative grade point average (GPA) above 3.51 and possess scientific publications indexed at least in Sinta 3 or Sinta 4.
According to him, all doctoral and master’s graduates participating in this yudisium achieved GPAs above 3.51. He noted that the achievement should be appreciated while also serving as a responsibility to create broader benefits for society.

The yudisium also featured a special session by Dr. Hadi Cahyadi, S.E., MBA., MCL., who delivered material titled “Family Business in Indonesia – Crafting Legacy Beyond Generation.” The presentation was elaborated from his book Go Perpetuate: How to Beat The 3rd Generation Curse.
In his presentation, Hadi discussed the sustainability challenges faced by family businesses in Indonesia and strategies for building business legacies across generations. The session formed part of efforts to strengthen graduates’ readiness in facing the dynamics of the professional and business world.
One of the doctoral graduates, Dr. M. Fankar Umran, expressed hope that the knowledge gained during his studies would have relevance and practical benefits for graduates’ lives and careers.
Meanwhile, Master of Management graduate Dewi Alison, M.M. stated that the learning experience, which encouraged students to examine issues in a more structured and comprehensive way, had enriched her approach to learning. She added that students in Untar’s Master of Management Program not only study concepts, but also gain direct understanding of their implementation.
Through this yudisium, the Postgraduate Program of Universitas Tarumanagara reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining academic quality while encouraging graduates to make meaningful contributions to society and the professional world. (VC/YS)
