The Faculty of Engineering (FT) Untar held its 28th annual Student Scientific Paper Competition (LKIM) on Wednesday (July 23, 2025) at Untar Campus I.
With the theme “Engineering for Impact: Engineering Student Innovations for a Sustainable Industrial Future,” this event serves as a platform for undergraduate to postgraduate students to channel their creativity and innovations through scientific papers. The competition is held twice a year—every semester—and has become an integral part of FT Untar’s academic culture.
This event not only aims to sharpen students’ research and design skills but also serves as a platform for testing research- and design-based final projects. Each work is presented before a panel of judges, all of whom are doctoral-degree faculty members from FT Untar.
At this 28th LKIM event, participants came from various study programs within FT Untar, including:
Architecture
Urban Planning & Real Estate
Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Industrial Engineering
A total of 31 participants competed in three main categories:
