In the spirit of celebrating Eid al-Fitr 1446 H and strengthening bonds of friendship, Tarumanagara University (Untar) held the 2025 Untar Family Halalbihalal event with the theme “Harmony in Diversity, Synergy Towards Victory”. The event took place at the 8th Floor Auditorium, Untar Campus I, and was attended by leaders from the foundation, university, faculties, and study programs.
Also present were the Chairman of the Tarumanagara Foundation Board, Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H.; Rector of Untar, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, SH., M.H., M.Kn., M.M.; Vice Rector of Untar, Sri Tiatri, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., Psychologist; along with other university leaders and lecturers.
The event became even more lively with cultural performances of Rambak Bedug and Tari Piring, symbolizing the harmony and cultural richness within an inclusive and multicultural academic environment.

In his remarks, Untar Rector Prof. Amad Sudiro emphasized the importance of strengthening the values of togetherness after Ramadan.
“The Halalbihalal is a strategic moment to strengthen brotherhood and foster togetherness. Diversity is our strength, and through synergy in unity, we are ready to move forward and lead Untar to greater progress”, he said.
Meanwhile, Prof. Ariawan Gunadi expressed that Eid al-Fitr is a time to reaffirm unity amid differences.
“Despite our diverse backgrounds, we are one big family. This Halalbihalal is an expression of gratitude and mutual respect, values we must continue to uphold as the foundation for Untar’s future growth”, he explained.
In a media interview session, the Rector of Untar also outlined the strategic direction for campus development, including the expansion of international collaborations.

“Internationalization is one of our strategic priorities this year. Our recent collaboration with Kun Shan University in Taiwan marks an initial step in strengthening our global network”. he stated.
Prof. Ariawan added that the Tarumanagara Foundation fully supports this initiative, one of which is by inaugurating Untar Residence (URes), a new on-campus dormitory facility with a capacity of 163 rooms.
“URes is an important facility that supports both domestic and international student exchanges, while also representing the spirit of diversity and progress”, he remarked.
This event reaffirmed Untar’s commitment to creating a harmonious, inclusive, and globally competitive academic environment, in line with the spirit of Eid al-Fitr’s celebration of togetherness and triumph. (VA/AJ/YS/VC)
