Untar held the 13th Research Week with themed “Building Untar’s Reputation through Internationalization towards a World Class University”. The event, which is included in Untar’s 64th anniversary series of event, was held on Wednesday (11/10) at Untar Auditorium.
Rector of Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Prof. Dr. Ir. Agustinus Purna Irawan, M.T., M.M., I.P.U., A.E. said that appreciation is needed as a support in order to achieve and maintain achievements. Research Week becomes the platform that gives appreciation to lecturers with achievements and dedications.
Head of Research and Community Engagement Institute (LPPM) of Untar, Ir. Jap Tji Beng, MMSI, M.Psi, Ph.D., P.E., M.ASCE, stated that there is a significant improvement in 2023. The number of publications in Scopus indexed and internationally reputed journals has tripled. In addition, the number of selected works increased by 44%.
Jap Tji Beng hopes that in the future Untar lecturers, partners, and students can increase the quantity and quality of research and community engagement.
There were 1.870 works that passed the selection in this Research Week. In addition, Rector of Untar won the highest number of Scopus works award.
In Research Week, there are five award categories, namely the category of journal articles and proceedings, the category of research grants, the category of intellectual property rights from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Keynote/Invited Speaker, book/book chapter, and two special awards, namely the highest number of Scopus works and the Professor achievement award: achievement for scientific works that have been recognized by the Higher Education as reputable works.
